Seán Byrne Obituary, Death Cause – Seán Robert Byrne, whose last known addresses were in Gallipot and 3 Little Barrack Street in Carlow as well as Chertsey, Surrey, England, has passed away.
After a brief illness that Seán faced with incredible fortitude, strength, and bravery, he died away on August 31, 2023, in the comfort of his home in Chertsey, surrounded by his beloved family. Seán had been ill for only a few weeks. Beloved Son of the late Annie Parker-Byrne and Jack Byrne, Seán is the deeply loved and cherished Husband of Janet, the adored Father and Protector of his Daughters Jamie and Erin, the proud Grandfather of Sonny, and also the much loved and admired Brother of Tommy, Martin, Jimmy, Mairéad,
and Sharon, (Carlow). His parents Annie Parker-Byrne and Jack Byrne both passed away. They, together with the rest of Seán’s loving family, including his daughter’s partners Dave and John, his sisters-in-law Kathryn and Ann, his extended relatives in Ireland and England, and a very large circle of genuine friends, will mourn him terribly. May the kind soul of Seán rest in peace, and may the angels lead him to the place in paradise that he so richly deserves. R.I.P. On Monday, September 18 at noon,
there will be a celebration of Seán’s life at his house in Chertsey, followed by the cremation at Woking Crematorium in Surrey. Both events will take place on Monday, September 18. On September 30th, 2023, at 10 o’clock in the morning, there will be a Memorial Mass held at the Cathedral of the Assumption in Carlow (Ireland). This will be followed by the interment of Seán in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Carlow. In Lieu of Floral Tributes, a ‘Memory Giving Page’ Has Been Opened In Memory of Seán.
