Nan Matthews Obituary, Death Cause – An acknowledgment from the family of Nan Matthews, who passed away recently (may she rest in peace). We, the family of the late Nan Matthews, who passed away on the 9th of August 2023, would like to take this opportunity to convey our warmest and most heartfelt appreciation to all of you who sympathized with us in our recent time of loss by thanking you for your support. Nan passed away on the 9th of August 2023. Each and every person who took the time to send Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, phone calls, messages, as well as those who visited the wake and funeral, as well as those who made donations in place of flowers, was deeply appreciated by us.
To those who came from far away to be with us during the wake and the funeral, we are grateful. Those individuals who assisted us in any manner with the provision of refreshments during the wake have our sincere gratitude. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Father Adrian Farrelly for the stunningly beautiful Mass, to Linda Boucher for the stunningly lovely singing, and to everyone else who took part in the Mass. We would also like to express our gratitude to everyone who assisted us in taking care of Nan while she was ill, particularly Dr. Hampshire and Dr. Torney of Meadowlands Surgery, as well as the rest of the connected healthcare team.
Lastly, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Patricia and the rest of the staff at Heaney Keenan Funeral Directors for the professional, dignified, and compassionate manner in which they guided us through the arrangements for Nan’s funeral. owing to the fact that it would be physically impossible for us to personally thank each person individually. Please acknowledge this gift as a sign of our deep gratitude and appreciation for all that you have done for our family. St. Catherine’s Church on Dominic Street will be the location of Nan’s Month’s Mind Mass, which will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday, September 10th, 2023.
