On September 4, Leo tragically lost his life while doing his professional responsibilities. Leo’s tenure in Charlie Company from 1969 to 1970 was characterized by his indispensable role inside the unit, which left an indelible mark on all members.
Leo’s demise was ascertained to be a result of congestive heart failure, a medical ailment against which he valiantly battled throughout his lifetime. Despite Leo’s ongoing health challenges, he eagerly anticipated his attendance at the 2023 Charlie Company Reunion.
