Laura Zenk Suicide, Raleigh Probation Officer Investigates Laura Zenk Suicide

Laura Zenk Suicide, Death Cause – Dee’s surviving family members include her husband, Eric Zenk, who lives in Sedona, and her children, Kari, who lives in Phoenix, and Kirk, Andrew, and Kevin, who live in Phoenix, AZ, San Francisco, CA, and Tempe, AZ, respectively. Dee is also survived by eight grandkids. Martin, a Danish exchange student, along with his wife and three children, make up the family unit. Dee’s parents and a grandchild had died before her. Dee graduated from the University of Arkansas with a nursing degree and a bachelor’s degree from St. Francis University.

In the state of Alabama, she worked as a pediatric Registered Nurse. After successfully juggling the demands of her personal and professional lives, she went on to work as a school nurse in Phoenix’s Paradise Valley Unified District, as well as in community health for 12 years in Yavapai County. She served on the MATFORCE Steering Committee as well as the Greater Sedona Substance Abuse Committee.

Dee’s most recent position was as Director of the Northern Arizona Restorative Justice program, which aims to facilitate the reintegration of both victims and offenders into society, with the goal of restoring their overall well-being and enabling them to make positive contributions to the community. The individual’s family and associates remember her as a straightforward and sympathetic woman dedicated to supporting young people in developing constructive and beneficial lifestyles.
Dee actively participated in the AFS Foreign Exchange Student program and worked as an area counselor in Phoenix for several years in addition to her nursing career. She was also a part of the Scottsdale Charwomen organization.
