Kenneth Noyd Obituary, Death Cause – We are saddened to share the news of the passing of Kenneth “K.O.” Noyd, a cherished member of our family. K.O. was more than an employee; for nearly 40 years, he was an integral and beloved component of The Resource Center. His dedication and kindness affected the lives of many people, and we will miss him dearly. K.O. Johnson’s parents, Kenneth Noyd and Alma Card Noyd, welcomed their first child into the world on July 29, 1945, in Jamestown, New York. He had graduated with honor from Jamestown Public Schools and spent the better part of the last three decades working as a volunteer at the city’s Achievement Center and Resource Center.
His selflessness and kindness shone through in the way he helped others. K.O. was not only well-known for his professional accomplishments, but also for his status as the biggest Elvis Presley devotee in the world. He was an enthusiastic WWF Wrestling fan whose love in the sport was contagious. Richard M. Johnson and Diana Johnson, both of Jamestown, are Kenneth’s surviving family members. Ken Johnson’s brother, Ronald Johnson, and their parents all passed away before him, as did his stepfather, Stanley Johnson, who was instrumental in Ken’s upbringing. K.O. requested that there be no funeral or visitation held in his honor. We offer our sincerest sympathies to his family and friends as we pause to reflect on and celebrate his life.
I pray that they find solace and support as they go through this. We will always remember Kenneth “K.O.” Noyd for the kindness, loyalty, and selfless love he showed to all those around him. He wasn’t just a worker here; he was like one of the kids. K.O., you will be missed. The people whose lives you changed will miss you terribly, but you will never truly be gone.
