Jennifer Forkum Obituary, Death Cause – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jennifer Wood Forkum, a loving soul who touched the lives of many. Jennifer, aged 60, formerly of Red Boiling Springs, TN, peacefully departed from this world on Saturday afternoon, September 2, 2023, at the Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital in Lebanon, TN. She is now under the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN. Funeral services to celebrate Jennifer’s life will be held on Tuesday afternoon, September 5, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN. The service will be officiated by Elder Mark Copass, offering solace and support to family and friends during this difficult time. Jennifer will be laid to rest in the Beautiful Home Cemetery following the service.
Visitation hours have been scheduled for Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the service begins at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorials to assist with funeral expenses. Jennifer is survived by her companion, David Doss of Lafayette; her mother, Minnie Brown Wood of Celina; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Vickie and Ricky Rice of Red Boiling Springs, Rosemary Dodson of North Springs, Angie and Josh Strong of Moss; her brother and sister-in-law.
Jerry and Samantha Wood of Westmoreland; three grandchildren, Logan Spahr, Kurtley Walker, and Cayia Walker; her step-daughter, Emily Doss of Scottsville, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved support dog, Tilly Belle Doss. Jennifer Wood Forkum’s memory will forever be cherished in our hearts. Her warmth, love, and presence will be deeply missed, but the beautiful memories of her will continue to bring comfort and solace during this time of grief.
