James Johnston Obituary, Death Cause – I’m writing to inform you that our/my father, James Johnston (Jimmy Johnston), passed away abruptly and very sadly late last week. My dad was such a well-liked guy with so many varied friends from all over the world that doing it this way will be the best way to reach everyone who knew and loved him, so I apologize in advance to anyone who is learning about it on social media. It still doesn’t really sink in that he is no longer with us as I write this and think of him in the past tense. Anyone who knew him will be familiar with his loving disposition, wit, and endearing character.
Many people will miss him greatly, and I’m extending my condolences and love to all of our family, friends, and anybody else who had the pleasure of knowing him. His Facebook account will remain accessible to the public so that anyone who wishes to express their condolences may do so anyway they choose. If anyone has any pictures, tales, or recollections of him, please feel free to post them there so that we can all remember what a truly unique man he was.
I can’t express enough gratitude to everyone who has gotten in touch with us to express their sympathies; it truly means a lot during this trying and weird time. You will be sorely missed, Dad. I will always feel happy and smile because of the memories I have with you. Jim, I love you always. I appreciate you just being you. I’m so happy to have you as my father. Give Nana Pat a warm hug from all of us as you rest in peace, giant muppet.
