Eric Webb Obituary, Death Cause – I am saddened to tell you that Eric Martin Webb has passed away; it is with a heavy heart that I do so. Throughout the years, I have been honored to have the opportunity to take many stunning stage and studio photographs of his husband, Michael Martin. However, on August 2, 2018, I was blessed with the opportunity to photograph both of them together on stage as they were performing Faust. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me. Eric was more than simply a subject for me to photograph; he was also a source of inspiration and a pillar of support for Michael and their joint journey as artists.
The fact that he was there is evidence of their profound connection and the fact that they both have a strong enthusiasm for the performing arts. I thought it would be fitting to pay honor to Eric’s talent, devotion, and the love that he shared with Michael by posting some of the images that were taken during that unforgettable concert. These pictures depict a fleeting instant in time when their skills complemented one another, and their passion for their work shined through clearly. When we are grieving the loss of a loved one, it is the memories we hold dear and the works of art we produce that help us to keep them alive in our hearts.
The love that Eric had for Michael, along with his body of work, will ensure that his legacy will endure long into the future. During this trying time, I ask that you join me in extending our thoughts, prayers, and our most sincere condolences to Michael Martin and the rest of Eric’s family and friends. Eric will not only be remembered for his contributions to the arts, but also for the love and joy that he brought into the lives of those who were fortunate enough to be in his immediate vicinity.
