Her husband, Bobby R. Harper; her sons, Matthew and Lenny Harper; her son-in-law, Everette Baxter; her sons-in-law; her parents; and her brother all died before she did. Her father was Leonard Sutton, and her mother was Tina Sutton. It was Alonzo Sutton who was her brother.

After her departure, she has left behind a number of people, including her children Robert D. Harper and Linda K. Baxter, as well as her siblings J. L. Sutton, Billy D.
