Elizabeth Betty Obituary, Death Cause – In a tiny, close-knit community, the departure of a beloved member is strongly felt, and we gather to memorialize a remarkable person who touched many lives. This extraordinary woman, whose name has resonated through generations, died quietly surrounded by her loving family in The Curragh Camp and Graignamanagh, Co. Kilkenny. Her life is filled with love, resilience, and family. She cared for her family as the wife of the late John and mother of John, Michael, Peter, Mark, and Bertina, imparting ideals that continue to affect their lives. Her children carry on her warmth and generosity.
She inspired and strengthened everyone she met despite her devastating losses. Brigid, Jackie, Joe, Jim, and Paula, her beloved children, sons, and daughter-in-law, found unshakable support and knowledge in her. As a loving grandma and great-grandmother, her grace affected generations. Her family tree is tall and robust, expressing her love and direction. Her siblings, brothers, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbors, and friends will always remember this great woman. She brought comfort, joy, and harmony to everybody who knew her.
Her life will be celebrated at St. Brigid’s Church, The Curragh, in a Requiem Mass that honors her lifelong love and respect. Her soul will rest in Holy Cross Cemetery, Suncroft, but her memory will live on in those who knew her. Let us remember her death and the joy of knowing her. Her community will continue to shine with her legacy of love and harmony. May her soul rest in peace and her family find comfort in her life well lived.
