Donna Lasley Obituary, Death Cause – Donna Marie Carroll Lasley, who had lived in Elizabethtown her entire life and had reached the age of 77 when she died away on September 3, 2023, was cared for at the institution that was known as Signature Healthcare of Elizabethtown. After having been a student at East Hardin High School, she received her diploma from the institution in the year 1964. In addition to her activities as a homemaker and a volunteer at the neighborhood primary school, Donna had a deep-seated passion for the creative arts. Her death came before that of her parents, Joe Carroll and Geneva Carroll, who had both passed away before she did. Her passing came before theirs.
There are a number of surviving members of the Lasley family, including two sons, Kevin (Mary) Lasley of Owensboro and Jeremy Lasley of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Glenda McFadden and Debbie (Danny) Fegett, both of Elizabethtown; two grandsons, Nathan and Patrick Lasley; as well as a significant number of nephews and other relatives. The Lasley family was involved in the Civil War. The wake will be held on Wednesday, September 6, at the Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, and the funeral will be held on Thursday, September 7. Immediately after the conclusion of the service, the funeral procession will proceed to the Elizabethtown Memorial Garden for the interment of the deceased.
On Thursday, there will be a visitation held at the funeral home beginning at ten in the morning and continuing until two in the afternoon. Flowers are not necessary but donations to the Carmel Home, which can be found at 2501 Old Hartford Road, Owensboro, Kentucky 42303, would be greatly appreciated. In place of flowers, the family has requested that you send them these gifts.
