Axel Sherd Obituary, Death Cause – On Tuesday, September 5, 2023, Axel Tyler Sherd of Unionville, our five-year-old son, brother, grandson, nephew, and best friend, abruptly died away. He was a sweet, cuddly, funny, and much-loved boy. In Bay City, on September 30, 2017, Cassandra Johnson and Kristoffer Sherd welcomed their baby Axel. At Akron-Fairgrove Schools, Axel attended kindergarten. He enjoyed playing with his buddies outside on the playground. He had the personality to match his vivid imagination. Axel’s smile could brighten any space, and his embraces were unrivaled. He enjoyed to play with his pets (he had too many to count),
drive his roller derby vehicle around, and get muddy outside. He also never turned down some nuggets. He was his momma’s little turkey, and “Blank” and his dad were great pals. Axel’s kind, contagious smile and soul will be sorely missed. Axel’s parents, Cassandra Johnson (Thomas Cotton) and Kristoffer Sherd, as well as his siblings Ashleigh, Seth, Ellah, Landyn, Sienna, Syrin, and Vada, as well as his grandparents Chester & Lisa Johnson and Maureen Sherd, his great-grandmother Shirley Tacey, and a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, will cherish his memory.
In addition to his grandfather Michael Sherd, Axel also lost his aunt Nicole Johnson-Richie, cousin Charlie Johnson, and two beloved dogs, Bruce and the small dog.
