Allison Thomson Obituary, Death Cause – It is with profound sadness that we must share the heartbreaking news of Allison Thomson’s passing on Sunday. After a brave battle with cancer over the past few years, Allison left us, leaving a void that cannot be filled. She was a cherished member of our institute, and her absence will be keenly felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Allison’s talents extended far beyond her role within our institute. Just a few weeks ago, she garnered well-deserved recognition by winning the best handicrafts prize at the Nairn show for her stunning handbag creation. Her infectious enthusiasm and radiant joy upon receiving the award will forever be etched in our memories.
In the last year, Allison generously dedicated her time to our institute by meticulously recording meeting minutes, ensuring our records were always up-to-date and organized. Her commitment and attention to detail were invaluable to our team. To honor Allison’s vibrant spirit, her funeral will be held on Tuesday, 19th September, at 2 pm at David M Ellen’s Chapel on Grantown Road, Nairn. In a heartfelt request from her husband Sandy, attendees are encouraged to wear bright colors instead of traditional black attire, symbolizing the vibrancy that defined Allison’s life.

Allison Thomson will be deeply missed, but her legacy of creativity, dedication, and positivity will continue to inspire us. In this difficult time, let us come together to celebrate her life and the indelible mark she left on our hearts and our institute.
